Hello, Gyldhunters! We plan to conduct a server maintenance update on August 28, 2026, at 06:30 UTC+0, which is expected to last approximately 2 hours. Matchmaking queues will be closed early starting on August 28, 2026, at 06:00 UTC+0. Maintenance may end ahead of schedule or be extended; we will post notifications across our community channels if schedules change. After the maintenance, you will need to update your game client via your platform's store.
Season and Contract Task Adjustments:
In response to your persistent feedback regarding the excessive difficulty of Season Tasks and Contract Tasks, our team has conducted multiple internal discussions. We have finalized a revision plan and established dedicated progression-easing strategies, which are being fully implemented in this update to drastically improve your gameplay experience. The specific adjustments are as follows:
Season Tasks:
- Reduced the kill count requirements for monster-slaying tasks and lowered their difficulty mode restrictions.
- Adjusted the completion rules for tasks related to defeating Gyldhunters: changed "execute" requirements to "defeat" and reduced the required target count.
- Changed equipment value restrictions to equipment rarity requirements.
- Optimized task description text layouts and added visual indicators for objectives that support team-wide progression sharing.
Contract:
- Reduced the completion counts required for most tasks.
- Removed tasks that required searching specific containers.
- Simplified tactical item tasks so they can now be completed by using any tactical item.
- Increased the reward for individual Daily Tasks from 30 Contract Sigils to 40.
New Content & Optimizations:
- Added a new Oceania server.
- Removed some low-level monsters in Brandrgarde that were positioned too densely or near the edges, improving the overall PvE experience.
- Removed the display of enemy player names above their characters during matches to reduce cross-teaming violations.
- Changed the inventory stack limit of \[Soul of Return] to 1 to prevent them from being griefed or snatched by malicious players.
- Reduced the frequency of server-side rubberbanding errors triggered when executing branch skills right after a dodge.
- Reduced the frequency of server-side rubberbanding errors triggered when destroying breakable objects via movement or skill actions.
- Increased the Blocklist limit to 100.
- Added a "Scroll to Bottom" utility button to the chat interface.
- Added a feature to display recruitment messages in the World Chat channel.
- Added a system performance diagnostic pop-up.
- Added a secondary confirmation pop-up when purchasing items priced in the Overpayment Range.
Class Balance Adjustments and Combat Optimizations:
Mercenary:
- Removed invincibility frames (i-frames) from dodges performed while under the effects of the \[Leap Step], \[Dynamic Charge], and \[Relentless Advance] talents, and increased their Energy consumption.
- Added a very short internal cooldown to the cooldown reduction effects of the \[Thunderous Hammer] and \[Skullcrushing Echo] talents. This is intended to prevent skills from instantly resetting when hitting multiple targets.
- Adjusted the Energy consumption timing for the \[Earthshaker] and \[Skullcrusher] skills: Energy is now consumed immediately upon startup instead of during release, and the single-use Energy cost has been reduced. This is intended to eliminate zero-cost pressure tactics where Hammer players could repeatedly charge and cancel skills during combat.
- Increased the cooldown of the \[Skullcrusher] skill.
- Increased the animation speed of the \[Warhammer Sling] skill.
- Fixed an issue where performing a light strike after the \[Impalement] skill would incorrectly trigger the \[Impalement] skill again under specific circumstances.
Withered Knight:
- Fixed an issue where footstep audio would completely go missing under specific circumstances.
- Fixed an issue where the long-range dash attack branched from the \[Parry] skill traveled too fast, occasionally causing players to fly into the sky.
Shadowstrix:
- Changed the speed boost effect of the \[Phantom Shift] skill to only apply when moving toward enemies.
- Reduced the damage and movement distance of the \[Spinning Slash] skill. This is intended to moderately reduce Shadowstrix's ability to execute indiscriminate counterattacks using Super Armor, while still maintaining the skill's core mechanical characteristics.
- Reduced the damage of the \[Flurry Strike] skill.
- Fixed an issue where combining a dodge with a jump while using the \[Lightweight] talent would result in abnormal movement distances.
- Fixed an issue where the \[Lightweight] talent could be triggered abnormally under specific circumstances.
- Fixed an issue where the \[Wound Buildup] talent failed to differentiate between damage sources, resulting in abnormal stack accumulation.
Sorcerer:
- Reduced the PvP damage of the \[Meteor Charm] skill.
- Increased the Energy recovery effect of the \[Meteor Charm] skill when released without charging.
- Greatly reduced the damage of the \[Gravitational Vortex] skill.
- Adjusted the damage distribution of the \[Stardust Torrent] skill: reduced damage during the first channeling stage, and increased damage during the third stage when buffed by the \[Unending Torrent] talent, keeping total damage output unchanged.
- Increased the channeling time required to reach higher stages for the \[Stardust Torrent] skill when not buffed by the \[Unending Torrent] talent.
- Reduced the cooldown of the \[Meteor Impact] skill.
- \[Swift Strike] no longer increases the base cooldown of the \[Meteor Impact] skill.
- Greatly reduced the duration of the movement speed reduction effect from the \[Stardust Tempest] skill; the slow effect will now quickly expire after leaving the affected area.
- Reduced the duration and overall impact of the dodge distance reduction from the \[Storm Impact] talent.
- Reduced the duration of the \[Shadow Veil] skill.
Blackarrow:
- Reduced the duration extension applied to immobilize/crowd-control debuffs by the \[Lasting Pain] talent.
- Increased the damage of the \[Spore Arrow] skill.
- Fixed a visual issue where character models would display abnormally while climbing ladders under specific circumstances.
Seer:
- Fixed an issue where the \[Burst Rune] skill could remove enemy characters' invulnerability when leaving a Mist Lord's room.
Tactical Items:
- Added an automatic target-seeking feature to the \[Revealing Bulb] item series, and increased the movement speed bonus provided by its speed boost effect. Increased the dodge energy reduction inflicted by the \[Potent Revealing Bulb].
- Increased the hit radius of the \[Fetid Jar], and increased the duration it forces enemies to remain in a downed state.
Gem Affixes:
- Fixed an issue where the \[Creation] affix could be stacked abnormally.
Other Fixes:
- Fixed a visual issue in the Contract Rewards exchange screen where earrings would display abnormally under specific circumstances.
- Fixed a visual issue where the chat window would display abnormally under specific circumstances.
- Fixed a collision issue with ropes in certain areas of Hallowgrove.
- Fixed an issue in certain areas of Hallowgrove where invisible walls failed to block collision.
- Fixed a terrain collision issue in certain areas of Brandrgarde.
- Fixed a visual issue where character textures would malfunction when extracting via the Soul Ferry under specific circumstances.
- Fixed an issue where background music would fail to play when spectating battles inside a Mist Lord's room.
