Comparing Mistfall Hunter and Dark and Darker

Mistfall Hunter is a dark-fantasy PvPvE extraction action-RPG that features Souls-like combat. Players drop into corrupted ruins, battling monsters and rival hunters for loot, with the goal of extracting alive. This gameplay loop shares some similarities with Dark and Darker, which is also an extraction game.

However, beta players have reported that Mistfall Hunter differs in several ways. It is described as having faster, more fluid combat and a higher skill ceiling compared to Dark and Darker, which is characterized by slower first-person dungeon crawling.
