Gear Loss Mechanics

In Mistfall Hunter, if you die during a run, you will lose all the gear you were carrying at that time. This includes weapons, armor, and any other items you brought with you into the game.

However, any equipment that you have banked in your warehouse stash remains safe and is not affected by in-field deaths. This mechanic adds a layer of risk to each expedition, as players must weigh the potential rewards against the danger of losing their gear.

What Isn't Confirmed Yet

While the base rule of losing gear on death is confirmed, there have been discussions among beta players about a possible 'recapture' system that might allow players to reclaim lost gear after dying. However, whether this system will be implemented at launch and how it will function has not been officially confirmed.
